Sales Manager - Transport & Infrastructure

Would you be a good fit for the 1Spatial Sales team? We are looking for exceptional individuals who demonstrate sales excellence, innovation, a deep understanding of digital technology and collaborative behaviours to help lead our growing Transport & Infrastructure business unit specialising in the delivery of intelligent geospatial information management solutions. You will champion the application and value of information management alongside our Clients, apply your knowledge in user-focused discovery and service design to target real benefits across the lifecycle of asset delivery in the AEC sectors.

As the Transport & Infrastructure domain Sales Manager, your primary focus will be to contribute to the overall growth of 1Spatial through generation of sales revenues in the Transport and Infrastructure vertical market sector. The main focus will be to identify and close prospective business in line with 1Spatial’s growth strategy.

The role will be responsible for delivering new business revenue, maintain sales pipeline and define expansion strategy through business development activities and creating strategic relationships with customers and ‘C’ Level Executives.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with the UK & Ireland Managing Director, develop a 3-year growth plan for the sector identifying objectives and actions and ensuring progress is reviewed and monitored.
  • Taking responsibility for creating and managing a pipeline of sales opportunities throughout the year with sufficient revenue coverage to meet the required annual revenue target.
  • Build 'C' Level Executive relationships within customer and show the ability to fully understand a customer's budget cycle and work with customers to set budgets for future procurements of 1Spatial solutions.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining clear and accurate sales forecasts in the CRM and writing tenders, proposals and clear vision documents for prospective contracts with customers, using 1Spatial templates.
  • Lead and manage your vertical sales team and its development, to ensure corporate sales processes and objectives are maintained and met.

Required Skills and experience:

  • Proven account management experience
  • Sound knowledge of AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) domain
  • Experience in sales of software products and solutions
  • Building networks and new relationship development
  • Willingness to travel extensively (currently restricted due to pandemic situation)
  • Enthusiasm to achieve results in a growing, innovative company
  • Hard working, results driven, motivated by success

Desired Skills and experience:

  • A general level of knowledge of the GIS industry
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS products
