Embargoed Status

The Embargoed status in 1Workflow is intended to offer a point of review for data which is to be worked on in a job before it is prepared for download. This is designed to help ensure the accuracy and usability of data before any edits are made. For further information about the job lifecycle of an embargoed job, please see the Job Lifecycle diagrams.

Note: The Embargoed status is only applicable to Parent Jobs and no Child Job will enter the embargoed state.

  4. The Job will now be in the assigned workers Worklist.

ClosedUsing Embargo

  1. Once a job has been assigned to a Worker, the Parent Job will appear in their Worklist. Once they have activated the job it will proceed directly to the Embargoed state, awaiting review from the Embargo Reviewer.

  2. The Embargo Reviewer will see a Child Job of the Embargoed parent, ready for review. Once reviewed they can approve it or reject it.

Note: If an Embargo Review job is discarded, it goes back to allocated. It will subsequently remain in the user's Worklist, so that they, or the planner, can decide on how to proceed e.g: Keep the job but fix the data in the database before sending it back out, or abandon the job.

  3. If approved, the Parent Job can now be worked on and will move from Embargoed to Activated. If it is rejected, the Parent Job will no longer be available in the workers Worklist.
