Users
The Users tab allows Users with the User Manager Role to manage other User's Permissions, and to add individual Users manually. For adding multiple Users, please read User Import.
Users can also be created using the API. For more information on setting up and using the API, please read API Docs.

Add User
Click the Add button to add a User.
Fill in their Name and Email, and click the Add User button.

Note: Selecting the Activate automatically checkbox automatically verifies the account creation and sends a welcome email instead.
Editing a User
Find a User by searching or filtering the results.

Click the Edit button to edit a User and change settings in one of the following tabs.
Status
The Status tab shows some details about the User's account and can be used to reset a User's password or suspend the User if necessary.
Note: If Users are managed via LDAP Lightweight Directory Access Protocol then suspensions must be managed on the LDAP server.

If a User has not been activated,Users with the User Manager Role can create an activation link or resend the activation email.

Clicking Activation Link and clicking the Generate Link button in the popout creates a link that can be sent to a User.

Delete User
Click Delete User to remove the User from the System.
Tracking and Submissions data is retained, other data is anonymized.
Note: Single Sign-on/LDAP can recreate Users. Users must be removed from that system to prevent recreating the User in 1Data Gateway.
Profile
The User's Name and Email can be edited in the Profile tab unless the User is managed by LDAP.

The Locale can be set to change the language of 1Data Gateway for the User. It is set to the Browser Default initially but can be set to English (US or UK), Spanish (Spain), Welsh (UK), or French (France).
Permissions
Access Groups can be granted or revoked to individual users from the Permissions tab.
Note: When editing your own account you a warning about removing your own access appears.

Access Groups can be applied to a User by selecting the Access Group from the drop down menu and clicking the Add button .
Access Groups can be removed by clicking the Remove button and clicking Remove User.

Audit Events
Audit Events lists all tracked events that are performed on a User's account.

These can be filtered to see specific events such as Login Events, Password Resets, Suspensions, etc.
Identity Provider Links
Identity Provider Links are required when using an external Identity Provider.

Add an Identity Provider Link by clicking the Add button .

Choose the Identity Provider from the drop down, add the Remote ID, and click Add Identity Provider Link button.
API Keys
API Keys are necessary for authentication of the API endpoints. For information on creating API Keys, visit the API Docs page.
