Managing Your Account

1Data Gateway gives you a number of customisation options for your account.

     Note: If usernames, email addresses and passwords are managed centrally by your organisation you will not be able change these details within 1Data Gateway. Please contact your site administrator.

You can reach the My Account tab by either clicking My Account in the navigation pane or by clicking your user icon in the top left of 1Data Gateway and clicking My Account.

In My Account you can:

  • Update your profile information, including the language of 1Data Gateway.
  • Update your profile screen with text boxes for Name and Email Address. Also features the warning that profile management might be configured by your organisation.
  • Change your password.
  • Change your password screen with text boxes for Current Password, (new) Password, and Verify Password. Also features the warning that passwords might be configured by your organisation.

         Note: If you are using an Identity Provider (eg. SAML, OAuth, etc) then this will be hidden. Passwords can only be changed using the external system that manages your account.

  • Customise your Profile Avatar or upload an Avatar Image.
  • Avatar editor allowing a change of colours to an avatar of the user's initials and an image uploader for a custom avatar.
