Validating connectivity

Before validation, a network is constructed in the action builder. See Defining network connectivity for details. You validate the coherence of networks created in 1Integrate by checking the num_islands attribute. In a coherent network there should be only one island, which is the main network.

Use the following rule to validate the network's coherence. If the network connectivity is satisfactory, the rule passes the check. Otherwise, you can query the objects that fail using the rule conformance reports.

Note: The Name field is not applicable to this task, and should therefore remain empty.

In networks with more than one island, the main island is considered to be the one which contains 50% or more of the objects queried.
