To create a new action, on the Actions page, select Action from the New menu.
The new action is added to the Actions list. To change the name of the action, and add a description or comments, enter the information in the General tab. Select the Action Definition tab to define the action.
Defining an action is very similar to defining a rule. The Action Builder also supports Auto-Assist mode and context-sensitive selection of classes and properties, and the icons work in the same way as in the Rules page. For example:
Refer to the Building rules chapter for information about adding nodes and elements to construct an action, and Operations, which can be included in actions.
To edit an action, select the Actions tab and select the action you want to edit. Select the Action Definition tab and the action will be displayed as last saved.
You can use the cut and paste tools and the insert menu to edit parts of the action. You can select an element and change the Element Details.
Use drag and drop to reorder parts of the action. Click on a node to select it, hold the left mouse button down and drag the node to its new position. When it reaches a location where it can be dropped, a cursor appears.
