Server-side Validation

When jobs are managed as part of the 1SMS Worklist, they are validated upon being submitted (see Lifecycle of a Job).

• If the job fails validation, the job is marked as invalid and a child job is created to correct the validation error.

• If the job passes validation, it continues its lifecycle.

Validation jobs (child jobs created when a job fails validation) contain additional bookmarks in, enabling you to view validation errors that need to be corrected.

Note: Server Validation bookmarks can also be imported from a 1Validate report file (see Validating Data).

Viewing Server Validation Bookmarks

Bookmarks are accessed from the Upper App Bar (see Bookmarks).

Open the Upper and Lower App Bars by right-clicking with the mouse, pressing Windows + z on a keyboard, or swiping up from the bottom on a touch screen.

Filter to display Server Validation bookmarks by clicking on Filter Bookmarks and then selecting Server Validation.

Selecting a bookmark will zoom to the feature that failed validation. The exact failure of the feature will be displayed with a pushpin , enabling quick diagnosis and correction of the problem.

The following example highlights a "kickback" in a line feature.
