The transition to NG9-1-1 has been set in motion due to the FCC rules updated in November of 2024. When you dig into what this means functionally, there is a tremendous amount of work that our telecommunications providers will have to do in order to meet the regulations. The primary requirement is supporting a LIS; in this session we will explore: what are the LIS requirements, how does it relate to the GIS data, and what are CLDXF and PIDF-LO.
