Two of Europe’s most prominent and innovative engineering and construction companies – Laing O’Rourke and J. Murphy & Sons Ltd – are working together in joint venture as LM, to deliver a dynamic enabling works programme for HS2's phase one across the West Midlands.
They are at the forefront of major project delivery, and are applying some of the latest techniques to help prepare the route for Britain’s new high speed rail line.
Both companies are leaders in major rail infrastructure delivery, tunnelling, bridge construction, civil engineering, offsite manufacturing and digital engineering. The combination of these skills and strengths allows LM to provide a fully rounded service, that builds on the best of each organisation, and complements the diverse requirements of this exciting project.
