World Tour featuring FME 2024: London

Sean O’Donnell has been a Senior GIS Data Analyst in the Infrastructure Team at the Greater London Authority (GLA) for the past seven years. In this role, Sean has primarily worked on the Infrastructure Mapping Application, a tool that facilitates collaboration between utility providers and local authorities to minimize disruption and improve coordination.

Before joining the GLA, Sean spent several years compiling geophysical datasets for the upstream energy industry. Between these careers, he took time to travel the world, and when he’s not working or exploring new destinations, Sean enjoys playing Flag Football.

Philip Dellar is a GeoSpatial data professional who has worked in the GeoSpatial data industry for over 25 years. This has included leading on innovation of go-to-market strategies for the commercialisation of GeoSpatial data assets, and leading on data maintenance and quality assurance processes.

Currently Philip is the Data Strategy Manager at SwissRe, where he is working to bring innovation around the wider use of data as well as implement best practices to drive efficiencies throughout the organisation.

Previously Philip was a Director at Geomni UK, (The GeoInformation Group Ltd), where in this role of Technical Director, he was responsible for all production aspects of GeomniUK’s spatial archive.

His specialties are in data strategy along with the management and deployment of data, as well as customer relations and support. His knowledge of GeoSpatial data and its use provide him with the experience which has been used in the design many GeoSpatial databases and data policies.

Dionysios Kerasidis is a seasoned Digital Manager and Senior GIS Manager with over 10 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Specializing in the construction industry, Dionysios has a proven track record of exploring and providing innovative GIS solutions. Throughout their career, they have successfully led GIS teams on large-scale projects, demonstrating exceptional leadership and technical expertise.

Rebecca Meagor is the Sales Operations Manager and FME lead at 1Spatial. Having graduated with a Bsc in Mapping Science, she has been with 1Spatial for over 4 years, bringing with her 25 years industry experience with a focus on GIS, 3rd party software, training and consultancy, predominantly in the Government and transportation sectors.

José Diaz is a Business Systems Manager at the London Borough of Merton, where he oversees the Council’s Environmental Systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Street Naming and Numbering services. He has worked in both private and public sectors and prior to joining the Council, he worked at John Lewis.

Outside of work amongst other things, he is dedicated to improving his skills in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, having recently earned his first stripe as a white belt.

Tazim holds a BSc in Physics and began his career at Merton Council, where he played a key role in supporting critical IT systems.
His passion for technology led him to join the GIS team, where he significantly contributed to the expansion and integration of GIS across the organization.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Tazim is a devoted fan of J.R.R. Tolkien, with a deep love for all things Middle-earth.

Profile: Adrian is a Managing Consultant in 1Spatial’s consultancy team in the UK. He’s been delivering GIS focussed training since the early 2000s and been a Certified FME Trainer since 2013. He’s delivered courses since this time in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Adrian specialises in 1Spatial technology and FME and has applied his expertise across our regions, including when he spent time leading the Consultancy team in Sydney.

Profile: I spent the first eight years of my career working in the oil and gas industry as an exploration geologist and product manager. I used FME products every day to manage a huge library of open source, and proprietary databases and products. Since joining 1Spatial in March 2020, I have been working on a number of client projects where FME products for an integral part of their data processing workflows.

Warren Started his IT career 17 years ago with the last 10 Years in the IBM One Channel organisation, this is the IBM Partner Channel Organisation. Warren performed multiple roles over that 10 year Period. The first 3 years was supporting a large number of resellers for both Hardware and Software helping with Product Knowledge, Go to Market Strategies and Support.

The next 3 Years was spent supporting 3 Global System Integrators making sure they knew all the IBM offerings and how they could support and enhance their many Global contracts . They were Techmahindra, TCS and Cognizant.

The last 4 Years was spent supporting the new route to market which was Managed Service Providers where IBM looked to embed it’s vast array of Technology in Partner as a Service offerings. These Partners ranged from Startups to established Partner Organisations.3 Very different roles with different Challenges and knowledge requirements.

After 10 years he felt he needed a new challenge and he has been with 1Spatial for the last 3.5 years as Global Partner Manager. The role has many facets but one of the responsibilities is working with SAFE and our FME Commercial Lead at 1Spatial to maintain our excellent relationship with SAFE and grow our Footprint across the UK.
