FME World Tour UK – 13th May: Streamlining office-field data integration and biodiversity change modelling with FME (Mott MacDonald)

Bringing accurate geospatial data into mobile applications is essential for effective field data collection and management. The ability to routinely transform frequently used data types and formats and integrate this data within FME for further processing has standardised our workflows and increased efficiency. This includes Phase 1 habitat mapping and responding to the recent UK biodiversity policy. Using case studies from recent projects, this presentation will demonstrate how in-house FME workbenches have utilised Ordnance Survey data in facilitating accurate and quick field data collection and how they’ve streamlined the assessment of biodiversity net change, pre and post-development.
