FME World Tour UK – 6th May: Automating elements of the Employee Journey through better use of HR Data (North Ayrshire Council)

By interrogating our HR Data with the SQL Creator tool we are able to identify changes to employee records. These changes can then be replicated automatically throughout our various systems. Where these changes require specific action such as deactivating accounts for staff who have left, or creating accounts for staff that have joined, the workbench facilitates this. These changes and actions are then communicated to all relevant parties via email. This allows for a very hands-off approach reducing the opportunity for discrepancies and misunderstandings, whilst dramatically improving response times.
