HPMS Readiness Assessment 9.0
Validate and correct your road network data.
HPMS Readiness Assessment 9.0
1Spatial Inc.’s HPMS 9.0 – Data Readiness Assessment provides State Transportation entities HPMS data validation to determine if the Linear Reference System (LRS) network and complimentary data items meet the quality requirements for HPMS 9.0. As part of this readiness assessment, 1Spatial will run validation checks to ensure the data is ready for HPMS 9.0 using the same validation checks that will be utilized in HPMS 9.0. For the assessment, the HPMS data is provided to 1Spatial and the data will be run through the validation checks. A report is then provided back to the client identifying any gaps that the DOT must address as well as providing guidance on how to resolve the issues.
The Challenge
The Federal Highways Administration (FHWA) is in the process of updating its Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) to a more efficient and effective system. In doing so, they have chosen 1Spatial’s 1Integrate automated rules engine to perform data validations. As part of HPMS 9.0, FHWA is expanding the way it validates state datasets by adding geospatial checks using the geospatial road networks along with the associated linear reference tables.
