Tom has worked as a Geospatial developer in the public sector for over 16 years. Working within the Data & Geography department of Welsh Government, he leads the development of the DataMapWales geospatial portal and provides technical expertise and solutions to colleagues across Welsh Government and the wider public sector.

Daniel has worked in the public sector for the past 10 years, most recently as a Geographic Analyst for Welsh Government. Outside work Daniel can be found on the golf course or on one of the many walking routes Wales has to offer.

Sam has worked as a GIS professional for over 6 years, in both the public and private sectors. From sustainable drainage prioritisation analysis for the water sector, to the creation of total data validation solutions for government clients, Sam has worked to create bespoke FME workflows across a wide variety of sectors, always with the goal of encouraging collaboration, and enabling users to better understand their data and improve data quality.

When he is not diving headfirst into a workbench however, Sam seems to find any opportunity to cycle silly distances around the country, often riding 100s of km in a day for the sole purpose of being able to eat more cake…

Rebecca Meagor is the Sales Operations Manager and FME lead at 1Spatial. Having graduated with a Bsc in Mapping Science, she has been with 1Spatial for over 4 years, bringing with her 25 years industry experience with a focus on GIS, 3rd party software, training and consultancy, predominantly in the Government and transportation sectors.

Profile: Having had over 20 years within the GIS data industry, I have acquired over 13 years of experience using both FME Desktop and Server as a main software solution for ETL and processing tasks, involving both spatial and non-spatial data. I have presented at several FME World Tours over the past 10 years and enjoy using FME to solve a varying range of data problems.

Profile: Adrian is a Managing Consultant in 1Spatial’s consultancy team in the UK. He’s been delivering GIS focussed training since the early 2000s and been a Certified FME Trainer since 2013. He’s delivered courses since this time in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Adrian specialises in 1Spatial technology and FME and has applied his expertise across our regions, including when he spent time leading the Consultancy team in Sydney.

Phill Ridley is a Business Development Manager at 1Spatial. Prior to working at 1Spatial Phill was a intelligence analyst working in various policing operations across the UK, including achieving a 20% reduction in burglaries in London during one of the countries largest ever burglary reduction operations.

Phill is also a keen bell ringer. Not only is he a member of the Guild of St Paul's Cathedral Ringers in London, but he is also a member of the Westminster Abbey company of bell ringers. You may have heard him ringing at the Queen's 90th Birthday, annual national services, the Queen's platinum Jubilee or, most notably the Queen's funeral.

Warren Started his IT career 17 years ago with the last 10 Years in the IBM One Channel organisation, this is the IBM Partner Channel Organisation. Warren performed multiple roles over that 10 year Period. The first 3 years was supporting a large number of resellers for both Hardware and Software helping with Product Knowledge, Go to Market Strategies and Support.

The next 3 Years was spent supporting 3 Global System Integrators making sure they knew all the IBM offerings and how they could support and enhance their many Global contracts . They were Techmahindra, TCS and Cognizant.

The last 4 Years was spent supporting the new route to market which was Managed Service Providers where IBM looked to embed it’s vast array of Technology in Partner as a Service offerings. These Partners ranged from Startups to established Partner Organisations.3 Very different roles with different Challenges and knowledge requirements.

After 10 years he felt he needed a new challenge and he has been with 1Spatial for the last 3.5 years as Global Partner Manager. The role has many facets but one of the responsibilities is working with SAFE and our FME Commercial Lead at 1Spatial to maintain our excellent relationship with SAFE and grow our Footprint across the UK.
